Llangefni and Bethesda produced an entertaining and open match at Dôl Ddafydd in this WRU Plate match.
The home side took the lead after 10 minutes when flanker Gethin Harper finished off a fine backs move. Fullback Elis Jones converted.
The visitors struck back after 16 minutes when their pack drove over for a converted try.
With both sides well matched, it was Llangefni that took the lead at 37 minutes with an unconverted try.
The home side equalised 3 minutes later when Harper crossed again for an unconverted try.
Llangefni had good periods of possession in the second half but the home side grew stronger as the match wore on. Two kickable penalties were missed late on before veteran lock Dylan Owen crossed for a late try. Elis Jones kicked an excellent conversion from wide out to give the home side a well deserved victory.
