Bethesda's 100% home record was broken by a well drilled Mold side which went home with the points by a narrow margin.
Mold's bigger pack made the most of the home side's depleted eight and shaded the first half by way of a penalty goal and an unconverted try.
Daniel Pritchard kicked a penalty goal for the home side after 23 minutes play in the second period but, 9 minutes later hooker R Kirby went over for his second try for Mold.
In the final few minutes Bethesda finally woke up and Rhys Williams scored a try from close in. Mathew Parry quickly dropped the conversion but it was all too late and the home side's only consolation was a losing bonus point.
