This was an important victory at Bodegroes as Bethesda won a match against Pwllheli for the first time in several seasons.
The home side went ahead with a penalty goal but by the interval Bethesda were in the lead by 10 points to 8. Full back Gethin Long had kicked a penalty goal and centre Steffan Owain had scored a try which was converted by Long. Centre Deio Brunelli was Pwllheli's try scorer.
Pwllheli regained the lead with another penalty goal in the second half.
Late on in the match Bethesda's second row, Dylan Owen, scored his third try of the season. This was enough to secure an excellent result which sees Bethesda in second position in Division 1 North.
Bethesda travel to meet Birchgrove in Round 3 of the WRU Plate next Saturday.
