Gêm gyflym ac agos ar Dôl Ddafydd gyda’r canlyniad yn y fantol tan y funud olaf. Ymdrechodd y ddau dîm i chwarae gêm agored ond yn y pen draw llwyddodd blaenwyr Bethesda i gadw Llangefni rhag sicrhau o leiaf gêm gyfartal.

Bethesda aeth ar y blaen drwy gôl gosb Ricardo Bueloni cyn i’r ymwelwyr daro’n ôl pan sgoriodd Greg Horsman yn agos i’r pyst. Ciciodd Llyr Hughes y trosiad i wneud y sgôr yn 3 phwynt i 7.

Tarodd Bethesda’n ôl bron yn syth pan oedd Gethin Long wrth law i orffen rhediad grymus Arwyn Griffith. Ciciodd Bueloni’r trosiad.

Ciciodd Hughes gôl gosb i unioni’r sgôr ond Bethesda gafodd y gais olaf wrth i Rhys Williams sgorio cais a gwnaeth Bueloni’r sgôr yn 17 i 10 erbyn yr egwyl.

Roedd Bethesda’n edrych yn gyfforddus yn yr ail hanner cyn i bas fler gael ei rhyng-gipio gan Aled Jones o Langefni. Rhedodd yn glir i sgorio rhwng y pyst ac ychwanegodd Hughes y 2 bwynt i wneud y sgôr yn gyfartal.

Ychwanegodd Bueloni 2 gôl gosb a Hughes 1 yn y chwarter olaf ac er i’r ymwelwyr ymdrechu’n galed i gael canlyniad da profodd yr amddiffyn cartref yn rhy gryf ar y diwedd.

A fast and close match at Dôl Ddafydd with the result in doubt until the final whistle. Both teams played an open game but in the end the Bethesda forwards managed to keep Llangefni from snatching a draw at least.

Bethesda went ahead with a Ricardo Bueloni penalty kick before the visitors struck with a Greg Horsman try close to the posts. Llyr Hughes kicked the conversion making the score 3 points to 7.

Bethesda struck back almost immediately when Gethin Long was on hand to finish off a strong break by Arwyn Griffith. Bueloni kicked the conversion.

Hughes kicked a penalty goal to even the scores but Bethesda had the last word when Rhys Williams scored a try which was converted by Bueloni. The score at the interval was 17 to 10.

Bethesda looked comfortable in the second half before a careless pass was intercepted by Aled Jones who ran clear to score between the posts. Hughes added the extras making the scores equal once more.

Bueloni added 2 more penalties to Hughes’ 1 and although the visitors made a great effort to secure a result the home defence proved too strong at the end.
