Gêm gyflym oedd hon a ddatblygodd i fod yn unochrog fel aeth yr amser ymlaen.

Doedd fawr o ddewis rhwng y timau yn yr haner cyntaf a’r ymwelwyr aeth ar y blaen pan dorodd y prop Weston drwodd i sgorio yn y gornel.

Yn syth o’r ail-ddechrau llwyddodd blaenwyr Bethesda i ennill y bêl ac, yn dilyn ryc neu ddwy, rhedodd yr wythwr Rhys Williams hanner hyd y cae i sgorio rhwng y pyst. Troswyd y cais gan Gethin Long.

Ar ddiwedd yr hanner cyntaf enillodd Bethesda gic gosb yn ardal 22 Llandudno a chymerwyd hi’n gyflym gan Jared Mitchell. Ysgubwyd y bêl i’r dde a sgoriodd Gwion Emlyn yn y gornel. Ciciodd Long y trosiad anodd i roi’r tîm cartref ar y blaen o 14 pwynt i 5 erbyn yr  egwyl.

Bethesda oedd yn rheoli’r gêm yn llwyr yn yr ail hanner a sgoriwyd 5 cais arall – 2 i Aiden Guenole ac 1 bob 1 i Dylan Owen, Huw Williams a Dylan Hughes. Ciciodd Long 3 trosiad arall yn yr ail hanner.

Ar ddiwedd y gêm, gyda Bethesda wedi ymlacio braidd llwyddodd asgellwr chwith Llandudno, Hugh Griffith i sgorio yn y gornel i ddyblu sgôr yr ymwelwyr.

A fast flowing game which became more one sided as time went by.

With not much to choose between the sides in the first half, the initiative was taken by the visitors when prop Weston ran some considerable distance to score Llandudno’s first try.

Bethesda’s forwards claimed the ball from the restart and, after a couple of rucks, No 8 Rhys Williams ran half the length of the pitch to score between the uprights. Gethin Long kicked the conversion.

At the end of the half Bethesda were awarded a penalty in the visitors’ 22. Jared Mitchell took a quick tap and the ball was swept to the right where wing Gwion Emlyn crossed for a try. Long’s difficult conversion made the score 14 points to 5 by the interval.

Bethesda dominated proceedings in the second half and they scored 5 more tries – 2 for Aiden Guenole and 1 apiece for Dylan Owen, Huw Williams and Dylan Hughes. Long kicked a further 3 conversions.

With the last move of the match, with Bethesda in relaxed mode, Llandudno’s left wing, Hugh Griffith scored in the corner doubling their score.
