Doedd dim disgwyl i Fethesda, oedd yn brin o nifer o chwaraewyr profiadol, ennill ar Y Morfa ond roedden nhw yn y gêm tan y chwarter olaf.

Roedd olwyr Caernarfon wedi bygwth drwy gydol y gêm ond gyda tua 12 munud i fynd roedd yr ymwelwyr yn dal ynddi hi a dim ond 4 pwynt oedd y gwahaniaeth.

Roedd blaenwyr Bethesda wedi rhoi amser digon anodd i rai Caernarfon yn enwedig yn y sgrymiau ac roedd y sgôr yn gyfartal ar 10 pwynt yr un ar hanner amser.

Er bod y tîm cartref yn chwarae i fyny’r llethr yn yr ail hanner y Cofis orffennodd gryfaf gan ychwanegu 2 gais hwyr at y 3 roedden nhw wedi sgorio eisoes.

Huw Williams sgoriodd unig gais Bethesda a chiciodd Ricardo Bueloni 2 gôl gosb ac 1 trosiad.  

Bethesda, shorn of a number of experienced players, were not expected to win at Caernarfon but they were still in the match until the final quarter.

Caernarfon’s backs looked threatening throughout the match but with about 12 minutes remaining the visitors were within 4 points of the hosts.

Bethesda’s forwards had given the Caernarfon eight plenty to think about especially at scrum time and the scores were level at 10 points each at half time.

Although the home side had to play up the slope in the second half they finished stronger than Bethesda and they added 2 late tries to the 3 they had already scored.

Huw Williams scored Bethesda’s only try and Ricardo Bueloni kicked 2 penalty goals and 1 conversion.
